Charity Home Visit

Last saturday on 19th Februaury 2011, 3 people from Explorer Group together with 17 people from PC 1 and another IKM group were having a good day at Charity Home of Tengku Budroah Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. The visit was done about four hours from 9.00 am to 11.00 am (first session) and continue after lunch 02:00 pm till 04:00 pm (second session).

The objective of this visit is :

•  To introduce how to have better communication 
• To encourage kids toward creativity by making a drawing
• to give them moral support, creating happiness and joy.

The attendances of the event:

• Group PC 1 - 6 members
• Group  IKM (Explorer) - 3 members
• Group IKM ( Starfruit) - 4 members

The activities were participated of 11 boys and 12 girls.

Volunteers during flood season

Husin, who is a UniKL student, lives at Larkin, Johor. He is a friendly boy, easy to get long, and kindly person. He is an active student and likes to join clubs in UniKL. The clubs that he got involved are “KELAB BELIA”, GPMS, and others. He is a President of JPA club in UniKL.

Before Chinese New Year, he planned to go back to his village, and then he called his mother to inform about it. His mother told him about the current situation at his village due to the flood disaster. So he plans to ask his community club, JPA to do some welfare activity to help the flood victims at his hometown.

He went to his hometown with the JPA’s memberships club by UniKL bus. At the village, they help the victims to carry out the things, cooking, and others. They also ask for “Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah” to give some treatment for the victims during the flood disaster. After the situation back to normal, they help the victims to clean up the house.

There are more values that we will get from this story. The moral values are, the importance of helping each other, developing commitment among group, and built a relationship with the villagers.    

Zine El Abidine Ben Ali

  He is the former President of the Tunisian Republic. In January 2011, he was forced to stop down and flee the country.

  Over past 30 years, he was being injustice and cruel to his people. Citizen of Tunisia claims that Ben Ali is not offered any job opportunity to them, in fact, the unbalance five of the of the countries. Tunisia under Ben Ali saw problems with protecting human right such as freedom of press. They also were report of mistreatment of an opposition candidate.

  Ben Ali was reported own tigers and his tigers were treated with good and healthy beef and chicken. By this it shows that Ben Ali was not concerning for his people welfare but only concerning his own satisfaction. His wife also was reported that she used government flight just to fulfill his own interest by importing special yogurt from United States. Furthermore he also located a luxury gold store to keep just for her wife.
